Question
Can this be hung horizontally?
I am looking for one big piece to place on a wall behind a sofa. Does this come with the hardware to be hung vertically or would it still work to hang it horizontally?

answer 2
The hardware is set for it to hang vertically. You would probably have to get new hanger wire but it would be relatively easy to set to hang horizontally.

answer 3
It is already wired to be hung as is. It is, however, lightweight enough to be hung using just a nail in whatever direction you would prefer.

answer 4
It has wire to hang vertically, however, you could also hang this print (Sunshine 1 or 2) horizontally but you would have to change the hanging wire.

answer 5
It already has a wire attached for hanging so you wouldn't be able to hang it a different way than pictured.

answer 6
The hardware that comes with is for Horizontal hanging, just like it shows in the pic, I think it would look good hung vertically as well. You can also pick up the wire hanging kit at pretty much any craft store, they are usually under $5 and easy to install if you really wanted to hang vertically-

answer 7
No, the hardward is attached to hang vertically and so is the signature. You could purchase Transition I & II and hang together behind your sofa, which would look great!

answer 14
Yes. You may hang it either way--even though it may have hardware installed for the opposite direction of your choice.
This was the case for one piece we purchased. I simply measured the center on the horizontal side of the Art work, drilled a small hole into the wood frame--large enough to be able to insert the nail you would like to use to hang--placed the nail into the wall and simply positioned the Art onto the wall. This worked very well.
I angled the pilot hole a little upward so that the Art work would hang a little more securely.

answer 18
Yes, it can be hung horizontally. You will need to change the brackets and wire on the back of the piece, which is relatively easy to do. If you're not comfortable doing it, take it to a frame shop and they can switch the hardware in just a couple of minutes.

answer 20
I would not hang it horizontally because it looks so much like a sea/skyscape. I did not use hardware because I bought a canvas version that was stretched on a frame. To allow it to hang flat, I put the canvas's frame over the nail.

You could go vertical. The artist signed it on the horizontal, but you cant see it unless you look closely.

answer 22
Wire comes pre-installed on.
If I remember correctly - this art is only available same dimensions all around. Ex. 24x24
Therefore it shouldn't matter vertically or horizontally.

answer 23
It should only be hung horizontally as it is a panoramic piece of art. It has a wire on the back for hanging.

answer 24
I think it would be very easy to change the backwire and make it to be hung this way. I would ask them when ordering it if they can attach the wire in this manner and it should be no problem.

answer 25
This piece comes with the hardware to hang it vertically, although I'm sure you could make adjustments to hang it horizontally. You could also call Gallery Direct and see if they can adjust the hardware for you so you can hang it horizontally.
